Level 1:
Childrens Classes: (ages 3-7)
One hour class which includes ballet, tap and tumble. Children of this age are grouped
into 3 different classes: preschool, kindergarten, and 1st grade. Classes include
warm-ups, beginning barre work, center combinations, corner work and the beginnings of
acro (tumbles, cartwheels and back bends). children will participate in
creative movement activities that enhance motor skill development, spatial
awareness, body awareness and creativity. Students are taught a number of dance
steps in addition to working on posture, graceful movements, rhythmic skills and motor
skills |

Level
2:
Older children (age 7-9)
Children of this age start with a one and a half hour
class , followed by a two hour class in ballet, tap and jazz. all subjects are
taught in a professional manner, incorporating more technique, terminology and discipline.
Classes run an average of 3 years to prepare them for hour levels.
Children can also take hip-hop as a special
$8.00 per class, pay as you come rate. Our hip hop is age appropriate, fun and
enjoyable for both girls and boys.
Students of this age can audition for our
dance company to compete in group numbers as well as solos and duets. |

Level
3:
Hour classes (start at age 10)
Beginning hour classes are offered to students in ballet, tap and
jazz. Ballet consists of a barre, combinations such as: adagio, allegro, e'paulement and
waltz. Corner work includes leaps, turns and shorter combinations. Tap becomes more
rhythmically challenging. We teach traditional steps as well as current, up to date
combinations. Jazz involved more stretches, leaps, turns and jumps. We teach different
styles of jazz that include traditionl, modern, musical theatre and broadway.
Students can also take
hip hop on a $8.00 pay as you come rate.
Once the students have completed 2 years of
hour classes they are offered lyrical.
At the completion of 4 years of hour
classes, students are offered pointe. Pointe is offered to those students
possessing correct technical alignment, posture, and turnout. |

Adult Classes:
We offer adult classes in tap, jazz and hip hop. Adult
classes do participate in the recital. Adult classes are a great way to have fun and
stay in shape in a casual,. learning environment. We work on material suitable for
those in class; from the beginner student, to those who may have danced at a younger
age. Classes run one hour in length. Pointe is offered to those students possessing
correct technical alignment, posture, and turnout. |
